Description: Huehuetenango is the highest and driest non-volcanic coffee producing region of Guatemala. It is located in the Western Highlands at the base of the Los Cuchumantanes, the highest non-volcanic mountain range of Central America. This region is protected from frost resulting in ideal geographic conditions for the cultivation of excellent specialty coffee.
